HOMESTAY

We know how important it is to feel at home in your accommodation. WSE homestays are welcoming and friendly and many have worked with us for years. We manage all our homestays ourselves and take great care to ensure high standards.

Surbiton Halls Residence (NEW)

Lovely riverside location with restaurants, shops & cafes nearby. The bedrooms are light, bright and well decorated. It will have WSE staff on-site supervising our students.

STUDENT WELFARE

he safety and well-being of our students is central to everything we do at English Study Camps by Wimbledon School of English.

We ensure student welfare with:

Caring and dedicated staff
A designated Welfare Manager at each centre
First aiders at each centre and on excursions
An average ratio of 1:8 staff to students on excursions ensures our students are well looked after
Dedicated accommodation staff who liaise with students and hosts to ensure students are happy and comfortable in their homestay accommodation
House Parents and residential staff in every residence
Level 3 safeguarding training for all our senior managers
DBS checks for all our staff and host families
First aiders on site at the residential centres and links with local doctors’ surgeries and hospitals

MEALS

Students staying in Homestay accommodation have their meals provided by their host family.

All students receive:

The option to buy extra refreshments and snacks at an on-site Tuck Shop

We can accommodate halal, coeliac/gluten free, dairy free/lactose intolerant and vegan diets but there is a supplementary fee.

Surbiton Halls Residence

We work with the catering team to ensure we provide a balanced and varied diet of traditional English and international dishes.

All students receive:

Snacks and drinks in their houses

WIMBLEDON TENNIS ACADEMY

For all budding Wimbledon tennis champions! Tennis lovers can join our Tennis Academy on Thursday afternoons and enjoy an hour’s coaching in small groups with a professional Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) coach. 1 hour per week
